The purpose of this Underground Mining Machinery (UG) Learnership is to give young people from the host communities the chance to receive practical training and experience in underground coal mining operations.

You will receive training to operate a range of underground coal mining equipment as a Learner Operator of Underground Mining Machinery (OMM UG). Key Responsibilities

• Under supervision, operate underground coal mining equipment.
• Carry out routine upkeep and help keep the workspace tidy and secure.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this learnership, applicants must have:

1. A minimum of Grade 10 with Mathematics, Science, and English
