A systematic 24-month program called the Tiger Brands Future Leaders Development Programme (FLDP) aims to quickly place bachelor’s and BTech graduates in leadership positions within one of the top FMCG firms in South Africa.
Participants in this expanded development program are assigned to a variety of business disciplines, where they gain access to a well-designed blend of formal training modules, mentorship, and on-the-job training. Future Leaders will graduate from the program with the cross-functional experience, strategic insight, and practical abilities needed to assume important roles at Tiger Brands.
The Future Leaders Development Program’s ideal candidates have a sincere desire to establish a long-term career in the rapidly evolving consumer goods sector. Applicants should have just finished their third or fourth year of college at an approved school, maintaining a stellar GPA throughout their degree.
Successful FLDP participants will have demonstrated originality and initiative during their studies in addition to academic distinction, and they will have no more than a year of full-time work experience in their profession (not including internships or workplace learning).
In order to facilitate site visits and cross-departmental rotations, Future Leaders must also have a current driver’s license and strong computer proficiency, especially in MS Word and Excel. Each graduate of the two-year program will have access to leadership courses, continuous coaching, and worthwhile project assignments, all of which are designed to provide them the tools they need to propel innovation and expansion within Tiger Brands.
