City of Polokwane 12 Months Learnership Programmes

Ready to jumpstart your career? The City of Polokwane is offering a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have completed Grade 10 or Grade 12! Four exciting Learnership programs are currently available, providing a pathway to valuable skills and experience in a specific field.

If you’ve successfully completed your Grade 10 or Grade 12 education, you might just be eligible to apply for one of these Learnerships and begin a journey towards a brighter future with the City of Polokwane. The City of Polokwane, in collaboration with Mahube Training and Development, is extending an invitation to young people without jobs to apply.

Learnership: NQF Level 2 Electrical Engineering (15 Learners) Math in grade 10 is a prerequisite (Ref: 02). Learning Objective: NQF Level 2 Water and Wastewater Treatment (15 Learners) Grade 12 is the minimum (Ref:03). Learning Objectives: NQF Level 2 Water and Wastewater Reticulation (15 Learners) Grade 12 is the minimum (Ref:04). Learnership: NQF Level 3 Landscape (30 learners) Minimum: 12th grade;

requirements:

• Candidates must be nationals of South Africa between the ages of 18 and 45.
• Candidates must reside in the Polokwane Municipality’s jurisdiction.
• Candidates must be unemployed and must not have previously participated in the Learnership/ARPL Program. Selected applicants will undergo security screening.

Completed resumes should be delivered in person to the Civic Center’s 9th floor offices 904 and 905, which are located at the intersection of Landros Mare and Bodenstein Streets. The cover letter should be signed and include the relevant Learnership program and reference number applied for, ID, certified copies of qualifications, and proof of residency from only authorized traditional leaders or municipal rates and taxes (all stamped).
