Through a number of development programs, we make significant investments in South Africa’s young, both employed and unemployed, and we promote education and training related to youth unemployment through important projects. Opportunities include extensive study bursaries in a number of academic subjects, the Youth Employment Services (YES) initiative, and our Retail Readiness Programme (RRP).

The Retail Readiness Programme (RRP) equips young people without prior work experience with the fundamental skills needed to operate in a retail setting.
After completing two weeks of theory and five weeks of practical training, successful participants are awarded a NQF level 3 qualification.
WHO CAN APPLY?
South African youth between 18 and 34 years with no previous work experience.
REQUIREMENTS
A South African Matric or an equivalent qualification.

Employment Services for Youth (YES)
A business-led program in collaboration with government and labor departments, the Youth Employment Service creates economic opportunities for young people to aid in the reduction of unemployment.
The curriculum exposes participants to several aspects of the retail industry throughout a 12-month on-the-job training period. Successful YES learners graduate with the skills necessary to work in retail or launch their own retail company.
