Youth Skills Development Programme For Unemployed Youth: Hospitality
- Have you recently matriculated or passed grade 11 and struggling to enter the workplace?
- Are you unemployed, aged 18 — 35 and cannot afford formal tertiary studies?
- Are you looking for opportunities to change your life?
- Do you come from a previously disadvantaged community with minimal household income?
- Do you have a passion for Cooking or Serving Customers
Do you have the following attributes:
• Stamina and happy to stand for long hours
• eager to learn and have a positive attitude
• able to work shifts
• honest. reliable and trustworthy
• presentable and hard working
• Applicants must choose between Options 1 or 2
Option 1: Front of House Skills Training Waitering, Bar Staff, Runners, Coffee Service & Hosts
• Good conversational English
• Friendly and professional appearance
Option 2:
Basic introduction to Culinary Arts and Entrepreneurship Chefs, Cooks. Kitchen Assistants, Home-industry & Baking Product Development
• Creative with a passion for cooking
• Eager to learn more about food
• Would like to run your own business one day
