Storeman position available at Injection Technik Uitenhage
Responsibilities
– Goods Processing
– Picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently and on time.
– Receive, store and issue goods against requisitions.
– Oversee the daily movement and storage of goods.
– Ensure the right quantity and quality is always received.
– Monitoring usage of consumables.
– Obtaining quotes from Suppliers
– Collection of orders from Suppliers
– Vehicle Checks of all 3 plants
– Arrange service of vehicles for all 3 plants.
– Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of parts.
– Manage the parts store budget, seeking cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Stock Taking
– Daily and weekly stock counts and reporting of stock discrepancies.
– Count stock and report variances between actual and expected stock levels.
– Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
– Pricing parts to maintain profitability.
– Receiving parts, including placing them into inventory and properly labelling them
– Maintain accurate records of stock levels, orders and transactions.

Housekeeping
– Contribute to the improvement of a safe work environment in work area.
– Maintain safe and tidy/clean warehouse.
– Ensure the store operates in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications And Experience
– Matric
– Valid driver’s license
– Tools to be delivered / collected
– Ensure that refuge removal is done timeously
– Storekeeping & Stock control
– Knowledge of parts and accessories will be an advantage
Skills And Knowledge
– Basic Mathematics principles
– Stock taking
– Best storage practices to mitigate risk in terms of damage, loss of stock
– Inventory keeping on Excel
– Good organizational skills
– Good interpersonal skills
– Good oral and written communication skills
